COVID-19: think community, not catastrophe

There’s a lot of uncertainty amidst the COVID-19 outbreak… but there’s some things that never change.

Rural and remote Aussies have always had each others’ backs – and now, more than ever, it’s important that we look after each other.

More and more people are self-isolating; especially the elderly and vulnerable who are more at-risk from COVID-19.

Self-isolation isn’t easy. Some people might be feeling lonely, scared and anxious. You might feel that way even if you’re not house-bound.

But helping other people can help you overcome those feelings.

This is an opportunity to reach out, strengthen your community and maybe even forge new friendships.

You can support those who are at-risk by helping them with things they can’t safely do for themselves. We’ve made a form you can print out and slip under your neighbours’ doors or in their letterboxes.

Let’s show the world how it’s done!
