2nd National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Conference 2018, 21st and 22nd November

We are excited to announce that Deadly Thinking will be presenting an abstract paper at the 2018 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Conference on the 20th and 21st of November.

The National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Suicide Prevention Conference brings together people, particularly Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, to discuss not only the high rates of suicide seen in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander statistics, but also how to work towards a healthy future for individuals, families and communities.

We are looking forward to coming together with people who work in the space to yarn about community-based solutions and the supports which are required to develop and implement them, as well as advocating on behalf of our primary prevention and early intervention, education based social and emotional wellbeing programs, Deadly Thinking Community Workshop, Train-the-Trainer Workshop, and Deadly Thinking Youth.
